The Midnight Saint Louis Concert reviews
Peter Gabriel - a true artist who also entertains
The Bowl's Midnight show was incredibly amazing. He not only played "So" in its entirety but also kicked off the performance with some of his older, equally brilliant pieces like "A Family Snapshot," "Digging in the Dirt," and "Talk to Me" among others. It just blew me away! The band, his original lineup from the original tour, was fabulous, as were the backup singers. The girl who sang "Don't Give Up" with him was a fantastic stand-in for Kate Bush. I never had the chance to see those songs performed live, and I also missed the original tour of "So" back in the 80s despite being a fan since his Genesis days, so this was extremely gratifying for me.
